This is an original production background from the Walt Disney Studios production of Lion Down (1951). This hand-painted background features an overhead view of a city from the viewpoint at the top of skyscrapers, and was created at the studio and used during the production of the Goofy short. Each scene in an animated film will have only one background, making them more rare and hard to find. The overall measurements of the piece are 12.5" x 15.5" and the image itself measures 11.5" x 15". The background is in great condition.
