A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios animated film "The Pointer" (1939). Featuring many of the forest animals and a size comparison with Pluto, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Measuring 12.5”x15.5” overall, with the character image measuring 11.5”x14”, the model sheet is in very good condition with discoloration, notable edge wear, staple holes, tears along the right edge, corner creases, stains, and punch holes along the left edge.
